Recently Bella and I took a road trip to Indiana. Driving twelve hundred miles may not sound appealing to most of you but she is the most pleasant of traveling companions. Since I had left her with a friend for a week prior to this trip, this took away some of the guilt I felt for leaving her.

One of the stops on our trip was to visit with a dear friend. We’ve known each other since our children were in grade school together. It always amazes me how you can not see a friend for years and still feel like you just talked yesterday when you do get together.
My friend happens to have beautiful flower gardens with gazebos and pathways flowing though her back yard. I always find inspiration for paintings there. If you have a close friend who loves flowers and want to send a short little note to let her know how much you appreciate her friendship here is an idea . . .
