A New Studio Pic

For those who have asked to see more of my studio, here is another view. My webmaster sent a note asking for more current photos. The next day I was reading our HOA Newsletter and a neighbor was looking for someone to take a headshot for his new business card. Another neighbor, a talented photographer replied so I messaged him, too.

Brian Dean and his wife, Tiffany, photograph weddings, Portraits, and Art photography. His website is Brian Dean Photography. I think you’ll be impressed. Here is one of the shots Brian took of me in my studio. He was fun and easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

You look lovely as always. I’m happy to see your studio where I’m sure you create all kinds of beautiful things

  • Thanks for stopping by and commenting Marie! It’s so nice to be in touch with people we lost contact with so many years ago. I’ll be posting more now that I’m painting more regularly again. Hope you’ll keep in touch.

  • Sweet Mickey! Your studio is lovely – as are you- and way too clean! Show us the real ‘dirt’, as they say, as you work away on paintings!! Oh, and post lots more photos, ok??
    Hugs,Dianna

    • Hi Dianna!

Too funny, I was working on a small watercolor when this was taken so I didn’t need much to work with. You see, I don’t want to go as far as to say I’m anal-retentive (giggling) but I am fussy enough to clean my workspace between projects. Just can’t seem to focus as well with clutter around me.

This is my small working studio space but I do admit to having two office spaces beside this one. I might share those, one of these days. Thanks so much for commenting, Dianna!

      Hugs, Mickey

Your studio looks great and so do you! Glad you are still painting! No need to retire from creativity!
Keep up the beautiful work! Jenny

    • Hi Jenny, thanks for stopping by! I did unexpectedly stop painting for over a year. I’ve been back in my studio on a regular basis for a few months now. Oh my, how I missed painting. I used to just come here and sit, make supply lists, lists of things I wanted to paint, a list of series I want to do and I even tried painting with my nondominant hand. That wasn’t pretty. 😉

You are so right about not retiring from creativity! No one should.

Take care and keep on creating those gorgeous purses, Mickey

Very lovely, beautiful and fun just like you!

  • Hello Joy!

Thanks for your comment! You are probably referring to the ornaments. They are fun, just a bit of whimsy. Hope you are doing well. Do you have another book in the works?

    Hugs, Mickey

  • Beautiful photo and thanks for the peek at your creative space. Any chance you’ll be showing us more? I love seeing where creative people play.

Well, Aprille! It’s so nice to hear from you. Actually, I’ll be back in the studio next week. I’ll see what I can come up with. I’ve enjoyed seeing your studio as well. Thanks for popping in!
